    How do I change the opening sentence? "Synchronet BBS for Linux Version 3.20". I would like to remove the "for Linux Version 3.20".

    I think you'd have to edit the C++ code and recompile it.

    If you're referring to the output on connect, that's hard coded... If you want to cover it, just add a clear screen code to the top of answer.msg.
