  • unable to connect via irc

    I thought this one was because I was using the wrong name. Well, if I was it is happening on all names. I am nearly getting to installing FTN for mail and skipping QWK.

    Looks like a firewall issue or port mapping if the ircd is, in fact,
    listening on port 6667. OP never posted anything to show that it was.

    I had a firewall, semi-semi-configured. I had it going to the wrong machine. --- Synchronet 3.20c-Linux NewsLink 1.2
