    It's been a little bit since I've checked in with all of the WEN Admin here on WhisperNet. I've tightened up things here on Raiders Inc BBS a bit with all the other networks and pretty much gotten everything running and working in its proper place. Come by and take a look at vintagebbsing.com telnet port 1337 or ssh port 1338. I'd love to see you.

    On another note, it's been rather quiet on the network here lately since I had the kernel breakdown and had to restore some areas of my BBSes. A good note, I've just made a backup of all my work on a USB and have been making regular backups at least once a week. The system seems stable. We're running at 500mbps up/downstream currently. The speed seems ideal for what's currently running as well as the other servers and BBSes that are in my internal network.

    At the time of this message, Jan. 27, 2025, I'd like for you to check out some of the other sub-boards here on WhisperNet and write up some messages to get some traffic going. I will be checking 2-3x daily for new messages and respond accordingly. I'd like very much to get this network alive and kicking again. It can seem frustrating with downtime and periodic restorations, but I've dedicated to keep going and keep rebuilding to make it better than before and trying my best to keep the system on-line. Right now, for awhile now, the network hasn't had any downtime so that's on a good note. I've been passing all my internal networking through pfSense, a firewall to traffic the good and bad connnections. Seems to be doing a pretty good job keeping the system going so far.
